Fortune Life Insurance Co., Inc. recently celebrated its 26th Anniversary with a solemn Mass and a lively Christmas celebration.
This also marked the culmination of the company's Silver Anniversary celebration.
Giving Thanks Through Eucharistic Celebration
As an annual tradition, a thanksgiving mass was offered on December 8, 2010 at the Fortune Life Building lobby. Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon-Chua, along with the rest of the Board of Directors, Officers and employees of Fortune Life, took part in the ceremony, which was officiated by Msgr. Sabino Vengco.
Fortune Life President D. Arnold A. Cabangon, during his inspirational talk, congratulated everyone for a job well done in 2010 and at the same time encouraged the whole company to do even better in the succeeding year. Amb. Cabangon-Chua seconded the President's call during his speech, emphasizing that we should not just let things happen, rather — we should always find a way to make them happen.

Fortune Life Goes Hollywood: A Red Carpet Christmas Celebration
To further strengthen the Anniversary spirit, the Fortune Life team recently held a red-carpet Christmas party with the theme: "Fortune Life Goes Hollywood".
The night was truly star-studded as employees came dressed as their favorite Hollywood actors. Two (2) employees stood out and won the Best Impersonator Awards: Adrian Salazar of New Business Division won the Best Impersonator of a Male Hollywood Personality for his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow of the Pirates of the Carribean, while Vanrick Peque of Customer Service Division won the Best Impersonator of a Female Hollywood Personality for his portrayal of Lady Gaga.

The night's emcees Raygraciano Abuel (VP of Executive Management Division), Ricky Cornista (VP of Marketing) and Cielo Pastrana (AVP of Treasury) gave light to the program and presented the winners of the raffle prizes. The Marketing and Sales Division also performed an upbeat dance number, much to the enjoyment of the crowd.
The much-awaited "Interpretative Song and Dance Competition" livened up the night even more. The competition was participated by five (5) division groups. Each performed the Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie original "We are the World". Weeks of preparations proved to be worth every minute! Congratulations to the winners:

Second Place - Office of the EVP-GM, Actuarial, Personnel and Administration and MIS and Records
Third Place - Marketing and Sales Division
